A Life Reimagined in Jewellery

I’m Rebecca McDermott — jewellery designer, maker, and dreamer based on Ireland’s east coast.

After years working in the corporate world, I reached a point where I realised success alone wasn’t enough. I wanted more creativity, more freedom and more joy.  When I turned 50, I made a promise to myself to build a life that felt true. So, I left behind my corporate career and turned my side hustle of eight years, designing and making jewellery into my full-time calling.

Now, from my coastal workshop, I create pieces inspired by the rhythm of the sea, the raw textures of the shoreline and landscape, and the beauty of imperfection. Each design tells a story of transformation and a reminder that change, like the tides, can shape us into something even more beautiful.

My collections are crafted with care, intention, and individuality. They’re not about trends or mass production; they’re about meaning. Every ring, pendant, and earring is designed to celebrate the person who wears it and their courage, story and sense of self.

Sustainability is very important to me, I use only recycled metals, responsibly sourced and traceable diamonds and gemstones as well as FSC approved Eco packaging.

At its heart, Rebecca McDermott Jewellery is about connection: between maker and wearer, between art and emotion, between who we are and who we’re becoming.
