In 2016, I moved with my husband and two young children to the peaceful Irish countryside, leaving behind city life for quiet skies, open fields, and a slower rhythm. Amid this change, jewellery found me or perhaps I found it. What started as a hobby in a small corner of our home became my sanctuary, a space to slow down, reflect, and create.

Jewellery has always been about more than adornment for me — it’s memory, emotion, and connection, a way to mark precious moments or feel close to someone you love. I believe in pieces made to last, slow-made with intention and meaning.

Over the years, my passion grew alongside my career. I studied at the Jewellery School of Ireland and earned a diploma in Fine Jewellery from the Jewellers Academy in London, deepening my craft and connecting with a mindful community of makers.

In 2024, I embraced the next chapter leaving the corporate world to follow what truly fulfils me. With this rebrand to Rebecca McDermott Jewellery, I continue to handcraft each piece using recycled metals, ethically sourced gemstones, and eco-conscious packaging. Every design carries intention, a story, and a quiet celebration of individuality.

My hope is that my jewellery not only brings beauty into your life but also inspires you to create, celebrate, and cherish what matters most.
